Keith Villa, the brewmaster who created the popular Belgian-style wheat ale Blue Moon, on Wednesday announced the launch of a new look for the line of alcohol-free craft beers infused with cannabis from Ceria Brewing Company, the beverage firm he founded with his wife Jodi Villa.
Market data shows that the non-alcoholic beer industry is projected to grow over 8% annually, while the cannabis beverage market is expected to reach $2 Billion by 2026.
The Villas founded Ceria in 2018 after Keith spent 32 years in the brewing industry as founder and head brewmaster at MillerCoors’ Blue Moon Brewing Company, where he created the popular Belgian-style wheat ale in 1995. As CEO, Jodi is at the helm of Ceria Brewing Company while Keith serves as brewmaster. The company’s primary offerings, Grainwave and Indiewave, are produced using traditional, proven brewing techniques and high-quality malts, hops and spices that create the beer’s unique flavor. A proprietary twist on the brewing method ensures that all of Ceria’s beers contain 0.0% alcohol by volume.
